A Little Of What You Fancy

Hi Everyone

Eeeeh by gum, damp and chilly in the bones describes the weather here of late.

But the birds are singing loudly in the morning to make the grass grow and signs of spring are everywhere.

Chris and I have noticed a copious amount of mole hills, and…

Not just a few here or there either, but thousands almost everywhere.

Every place there’s some grass – and there’s plenty of it round here I can tell you – it’s almost entirely covered with mole hills.

Except, so far, the golf course in Bellingham… ha ha ha!!!

When we drive past there, the ‘greens’ still look flat and smooth.

So I’ve added a photo of the field in the village near Geoff’s tearoom, where we go for lunch, just so you can get an idea of what I mean, and…

The field on the otherside of the road is exactly the same!

Also a few spring flower photos Smiley

But, it just makes you feel that – like most things in life – there’s no need to over do it Smiley

Which leads me on nicely to my topic this week Smiley

“A little of what you fancy does you good.”

Now, Reiki is our favourite thing.

Generally speaking we like all things Reiki Smiley

However, that’s not to say all other things, not Reiki, are therefore no good.

But you see, Reiki blends with and compliments almost anything.

So you can easily mix and match it with other therapies or practices of your current fancy.

And I do believe that is a good thing to do.

Otherwise it’s tempting to get stuck in a rut and become narrow-minded.

With the result that you never, ever, discover how ‘multi-talented’ you actually are.

I’m not suggesting you become a ‘Jack of All Trades etc’, but more of a good all rounder Smiley

So that you can lead with your favourite, and blend everything else into all you do.

We are not, as you may have noticed… Smiley

…into being Reiki purists…

We’re more of the mind that… ‘if it works for you, it’s right for you’.

Introducing new methods, thoughts, therapies, skills and concepts into your life, helps to stimulate you.

It keeps your outlook fresh, challenging and interesting… to you!

It stops your Reiki getting dull, tired, and might I say, boring.

You see, Chris and I are trained in many things…

But we enjoy Reiki best.

Whatever we do, there is an element of Reiki somewhere – because we see Reiki as being a good first step to understanding everything.

But we are always open to new ideas – all the time.

Reiki is a perfect, simple tool – to use, demonstrate and allow yourself to ‘feel’ the different fluxes in energy patterns.

But so is Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Tarot, Mediumship, EFT, NLP, Spiritual Healing, Prayer, Acupuncture and a huge host of other things too…

And by Becoming a Master in Reiki allows you to become more proficient in the others.

You have a better ‘sense’ or intuition of what is happening, how the energy is behaving slightly differently.

If you are a martial artist your power will be greater and more sensitive by understanding the simplicity of Reiki.

If you do ‘readings’ of any kind they will be more accurate if you blend your understanding of Reiki into them.

The ‘simple power’ of Reiki overspills into everything you do.

It’s not the be all and end all of energy systems of course, but it is wonderfully versatile and very easy to grasp…

For once you have mastered Reiki – it opens up many more energetic experiences for you.

But don’t take my word for it… do, please, try it for yourself.

Just don’t get stuck…

Be open to change… be fliud and flexible.

Be open to you changing constantly too Smiley

Your dreams and desires are ever evolving so allow yourself to evolve along with them.

Now, I sat at the dinner table the other night after the local farmer had told me how to make butter… and I made butter Smiley

How like manifesting is that?

I fancied having a go at making butter.

I found out how.

I gave it a go Smiley

I noticed things I already knew.

Nothing different appeared to be happening at first – but the farmer had said carry on beyond when you think nothing is happening, beyond what you ‘think’ will occur.

Of course, I have travelled down this ‘road of hope’ many times before – but never this far…

I started with fresh raw cream which turned into thick cream.

From thick cream to very thick cream.

Then to loose lumps of cream…

Then, in the blink of an eye, BUTTER and buttermilk.

I drained it, added salt, shook some more to bash out more buttermilk and then out popped butter which I ‘patted’ into shape… ha ha ha!!!

I felt like Tommy Cooper… just like that! (Tommy Cooper is an old English comic – sorry if you don’t understand the joke)

It was absolutely incredible – I had actually made my own fresh, organic, raw, healthful, butter – just like that!

So if you fancy having a go at something new… do Smiley

I may never make butter again but I know how to now.

I have had the experience for myself.

It worked for me Smiley

There is so much out there to enjoy and experience and all I’m suggesting is to expand your knowledge with your own experience.

And if you get ‘stuck’ in a rut, I’ve still got some butter left Smiley

Judith.
