Mornin’ all…
Only tricking
There’s no trouble at mill… ha ha ha!
Well actually… there is a very strange sort of energy going around at the moment and I hope I am not the only one sensing it.
I replied to the question this week and thought nothing more about it, until two people said they were also having an ankle operation, someone else was falling over a lot, another had a weak leg and fell over AND I myself have pulled my Achilles tendon on my left foot and I have a sore heel on the other…
Everything seems to be about slowing down and being more observant. My feet ache a lot but do not stop me from shopping
It is not necessarily about ‘not moving forward’, more a case of see what’s under your nose (if you stay still long enough!)
So, I am putting my feet up at every opportunity, sitting in my new garden seat
and appreciating all that I have.
Especially the lads, who are busy filling my new planters in the garden
I’ll maybe put up some photos when they are finished
But for now… onto the question…
Mornin’ all…
It was St. George’s Day on Friday who, if you can’t recall, is the patron saint of England
Now, if St. Patrick likes a drop of Guinness, I think perhaps the refined palate of an Englishman might like a nice cup of Earl Grey with a slice chocolate cake too, of course… ha ha ha!
Oh, we are so quintessentially English at heart
But Chris is a Chinese Dragon, so he is keeping his head down today… ha ha ha!!!
Ok, a question…
Q… Very interesting approach HOWEVER, as a Buddhist practitioner my question is… if I didn’t reach satory yet, how does all this work?
And my answer…
Mornin’ all…
No more excuses for chocolate and days off for a while but it will soon be the Queen’s birthday.
So we’ll have to use that for the next reason to celebrate with chocolate… ha ha ha!
But, patience is a virtue and good for my diet
And waiting for Spring requires patience too and this year she is unfolding with a beautiful grace…
…the leaves on the trees and hedgerows are almost out and there is a tantalising sprinkle of green peeping out from everywhere…
…but patience – it will happen
In the meantime, we’ll enjoy all the daffodils
Now, talking of patience, people still surprise me…
Okay, so most of you will know by now that I am not at all computery.
Yes, we do our very best to be up to date with all the latest do-dads, to make your experience of taking an online Reiki course as smooth and easy as possible.
But it is all a very steep learning curve for us too
Reiki is the easy part… ha ha ha!
So, it surprises me that people who have been reading my weekly, Sunday chat for years, suddenly decide to buy something, and then because of a temporary glitch in our ‘automatic’ computer software, they think we must be cheating them and running off with their money!
It doesn’t seem to matter we’ve been online 9 years…
…so where they think we are running off to, I simply don’t know… ha ha ha!
But it’s all to do with TRUST. Not trusting me or anyone else, but TRUSTING yourself
…
Good mornin’ all…
I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend. The weather has been mild and kind this week. Perfect for strolling about
Yesterday was my birthday, (56yrs in case you were wondering!), so today I am having a day off
As you read this, I will be being pampered and fussed and brought chocolate on a silver tray… ha ha ha!
Please join in my birthday pampering by indulging in some chocolate yourselves
Monday it will be back on the diet and the devilish ol’ treadmill…
Good mornin’ all…
Back to the winter weather again this week. Just when I was thinking of coming out of my black clothes too
Still, a wet Easter is usually a sign of a long dry summer… purrfick
I can’t think of a better excuse than Easter to eat chocolate, so let’s all celebrate in unison… ha ha ha!
Thanks to so many of you, for sending me lovely words of support about Mr Po, our cat, and his passing. It has been a wonderful, if sometimes tearful, experience.
But Mr Po has made his transition from here to there and is now happily ensconced in my whole being. I feel much more relaxed and content with the world
I recorded him purring and that has helped tremendously. I finish my morning meditation with a lovely purring session
It’s as if he is right there, reassuring me whenever I need it
Don’t know how that would work with a dog barking or a donkey braying though…ha ha ha!
OK… let’s be havin’ a few questions…
