I am up at the crack of dawn because Mr Po, our cat, had a fur ball at 4.45am.

Lazy Sunday

It is now 4pm and going dark on this cold, wet and windy Sunday.

But it has been a lovely day so far.

We stayed in bed late for us, as the wind blew on the windows and did not make getting up sound very inviting.

Mr.Po stayed on his hammock next to the radiator warming his kidneys.

Our neighbours Anne and Tony invited us round for Christmas drinks this morning at 12.15pm…

Seriously… Ha Ha Ha!!!

The weather has been vigorous here to say the least, with 80 mile an hour winds during the night and hammering rain.

But the sun peeked out just long enough for a quick, brisk walk up the drive and back again to get the circulation going.

I’m sorry to disappoint you all this week but instead of slaving over a hot stove we all piled down the road to Geoff’s tearoom for a big roast beef dinner and sticky pudding instead :-)

All the yumminess and no washing up!!!

Time Out

Happy Thanksgiving folks!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful day…

Congratulations to the All Blacks… enough said :-)

Well, the cold weather is here to stay now and we have had plenty of sideways rain and howling gales!!!

But it is nice to be safe and cosy warm inside.

Mr.Po definately needs encouragement to go out now :-)

He prefers to snuggle on his radiator hammock.

It’s Easy When You Know How…

I realised that life needs to be practiced too at times.

I resist change like so many others but anything is ‘easy when you know how’.

You just need to practice a bit more to get into your rythm or stride!!!
