Good morning
My word, it is turning chilly quickly now and the wind is fresh to say the least!
I have started to wear my hat and gloves when we go for a walk.
Walking is such a lovely pastime activity to do…
For you notice so much more around you.
Each tree up the driveway is changing at a different rate and the amount…
Bbbbrrrrrrrr… there’s a chilly wind out today!
We had a marvellous display of fireworks last night for free from our lounge window.
Our house looks down over West Woodburn village and the local pub must have been doing a display for ‘Bonfire Night’.
What with that and the glorious full moon and scudding…
Good morning… rise and shine
The sun is out and the sky is blue – perfect.
But, the past couple of days have been a bit blowy to say the least.
Now, I hope for those that do, that you remembered to put your clocks back 1 hour.
And if you did have to – did you choose an extra hour in bed or and extra hour to be up and about?
I must admit to the latter…
Ooooh… it is raining cats and dogs here in Heaven on a hilltop!
Still, we need lots and lots of rain to fill the resevoirs, because…
The small resevoir down the road looks very dry around the edges and Keilder Water lake is very low indeed.
Anyway, I’m sat here this morning in our newly rearranged office.
Well, we had a surge of energy this…
I’ve had a fabulous few days with my friend June who came up from Birmingham for a visit.
Now, June is my ‘oldest’ friend
And we have known each other since we were 4 years old when we started school together.
So, whilst she was here, we’ve done the shops…
Laughed about childhood escapades, done the deep reminiscent bit and eaten far…
