Reiki Fakers And Shakers

Becoming good at anything including Reiki, takes personal experience. Becoming a good teacher is an art in itself :-)

People often say we are doing a dis-service to Reiki and that people will go out there and bring Reiki into disrepute because they ‘can’t really do it’.

I truly know that not to be so.

If you cannot do what you say you can do, then you will be found out and no-one will go to you. Charlatans and fly-by-nights will always fall by the wayside whilst looking for the next thing to bolster their ego.

Reiki is simple to learn and understand but being good at it, being powerful, dynamic, and the very best you, you can be, is a totally different matter.

For understanding…

Reiki Training, Now Or Never?

Hello folks…

I wish I’d never mentioned it raining on St Swithin’s Day as now, with everyone believing the same as me, it will rain for 40 days and 40 nights… ha ha ha!

Yes, it’s still raining here, to the point of the UK floating off into the sunset I think… :-)

Hold onto your hollyhocks ‘down under’ because this volume of water has got to balance out and the next thing you know Australia will be awash with a huge tidal wave sweeping down from the UK… ha ha ha!

Hmmm, I feel so sorry for anyone here on their holidays :-(

Now, the energy – well, this week has been a bit heavy, plodding and uncomfortable at times. But as you know I am a great believer in there being no accidents, ever…

So, whatever is occurring in your life ‘right now’ is exactly right, for you, at this moment in time. Because ‘know’ it or not, everything you have previously decided or chosen has led you right to this amazing experience.

Okay, I’ve chosen…

To Reiki Or Not To Reiki – That Is The Question?

Hello Judith,

I would like to ask you a question concerning REIKI treatments.

I would like to know when a person undergoes “Healing crisis” should the person continue the sessions or stop a little while?

Or not as often?

Warm regards

L

And my answer…

Hi L

Do carry on with the sessions as this will help to clear things out for good.

No good doing half a job – when you have things on the move keep them moving – when the energy is shifting keep pushing.

But if the energy shift…

Reiki Differences

The question…

What is the difference exactly between Usui Reiki, Tibetan Reiki and Kundalini Reiki?

And my answer…

Hi K

Only the symbols and rituals :-)

The Reiki symbols and rituals are simply tools to, use, demonstrate, and feel YOUR energy… inside and out.

If you trawl the internet there are over 400 different types of Reiki but the essence is still the same.

I certainly have not tried them all and have no inclination to do so either.

Each one claims this or that, deeper, better, more, whatever but it all boils down to choice and what suits the individual.

But I like plain and simple without the fluffy bits :-) I don’t need a bag full of symbols when six will do the same job.

And all you need is something that ‘works’ for you.

But when it ‘works’ for you, exactly what is it that’s happened?

What did you…

Reiki And Perfection

Hi everyone…

It rained here on Tuesday which as you may or may not know, was St Swithin’s Day.

Now, legend has it that when he was buried he wanted to be outside so he could feel the rain upon his body.

Smashing… but then, many years later his remains were taken inside the cathedral.

Bad move :-(

…it started to rain and continued to do so for the next 40 days and 40 nights :-(

So, legend has it that if it rains on St Swithen’s day it will continue for the next 40 days, and…

Ahem, it’s been right so far… :-(

But who really believes in these folk tales now, eh? :-)

An Englishman knows a thing or two about rain… Pah!

We probably invented the stuff… ha ha ha! But if not, we can certainly lay claim to talking about it incessantly… ha ha ha!

But, enough of English history!

Now we all strive to be the best we can but…
