Good afternoon all…
As many of you know it was my birthday last Thursday and for those who are too polite to ask, I was 54 
In fact, my birthday spread out over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and I loved being spoilt.
Here are some photos of me wearing one of my new tops.
I feel exhausted today simply watching the London marathon. I don’t know how they do it. The weather here is beautiful sunshine and mild and Chris and DC are out cutting the grass again. So we had better get on with…

Q… What are the ways of checking the effectiveness of our Reiki????
A… There is only one way to check how effective or good you are and that is to give Reiki and listen to the feedback from clients.
When I say you need to be good at it I mean you need to be calm, efficient, confident and capable.
You need to feel secure in your knowledge that you ‘can do it’.
It is no good getting phased by or intimidated by a 6’6″ rugby player who is just being a little boy about backache… ha ha ha!
Or being firm and commanding with someone you know needs a doctor’s advice or diagnosis.
But this all comes with practice, practice, practice and then more practice… why do you think they call doctors surgeries practices after all?
In a Reiki 1 class you simply practice on each other, and give feedback. This verifies to you that your Reiki is ‘working’.
Q… I am not sure if I did my attunement correctly…
A… Yes you did… because there is no wrong way. Any variation is simply your way
There is only ONE energy… yes?
It is you and you are it… yes?
You are everything and everything is you… yes?
Therefore … You are Reiki and Reiki is you.
There is no separation, duality, two of anything.
There is only YOU…
EVERYTHING is a demonstration of the ‘ONE energy’.
The Reiki ritual of attunement is to awaken you to this fact.
Reiki is a tool to, use, demonstrate, and feel this energy inside and out.
But YOU are the power… YOU are the energy.
Q… Also you said we can be attuned several times….
A… Yes… as many times as you like or just the once.
Q… Are we becoming more effective in channelling Reiki and giving Reiki…
A… Yes. Each time you re-do your attunement you are recommitting and reinforcing your intention to use Reiki and to feel and demonstrate it.
