Good mornin’ everyone…
I hope that, if you’re in the UK, you have another splendid Bank Holiday weekend 
And, as there’s always a lot of ‘do’s’ going on over these weekends, that you’re all joining in and having fun…
Which leads me neatly into telling you that our son DC has entered the Burnmouth Brae… ha ha ha!!!
What the *!!*’s a Burnmouth Brae you may be wondering?
Well, it’s a charity fun run raising money for the Life Boat Service and it’s held once a year in Burnmouth - the next village up the coast from us.
Nothing too special then…
Until you find out that the village of Burnmouth nestles in a tiny cove, at the foot of some very steep cliffs.
And that ‘The Burnmouth Brae’ is a run up the very steep, twisty road from the harbour to the top of the cliffs…
…that it’s hailed as separating the men from the boys…
…and, as with all ‘fun runs’, is taken very seriously indeed by the locals… ha ha ha!
So, DC will need all the Reiki support he can get, especially for his lungs, thighs, calves and ankles
I’ll let you know how he does next week
Okay then, this week I am just going to chat out loud about things that have been rumbling around my head…
And I’m going to start with the title of this Sunday Chat - ‘Free Reiki’.
Did you pick up on the double meaning?
Well, I’m not referring to the something for nothing meaning, I’m referring to the one which means setting Reiki free…
…for I want you to release Reiki from the confines of being just a ‘healing modality’.
I want you to realise that the rituals and symbols are tools for you to use, express and influence the One Energy… which is both YOU and All That Is.
For there is nothing ‘out there’ - it is all created ‘in here’.
This world that each of us sees - is created by us and for us - with our thoughts…
In other words - what you focus your thoughts on, ‘inside you’, generates the holographic images you see, ‘outside you’.
Which means, the ‘mass illusion’ of the world in general is being generated by us all buying into and believing the same things.
So, if we believe the planet needs saving we generate a planet that needs saving.
If we believe we need to ‘fight for peace’ we will indeed have to fight for it, even go to war over it
But it’s not really out there… it’s in here!
We don’t have to fight for peace we simply have to BE peaceful.
Knowing this, we can begin to use our Reiki in much more powerful ways.
Our Reiki can gently begin to influence the way we truly wish to experience our ‘world’…
…to truly express our BEINGNESS!
Can one person really change the world … YES!
Because there is only one of us in the world and we are the world too remember.
Collectively we are like the mind chatter that goes on inside one head. Think of the planet like a big head… ha ha ha!
As each of us slows down and stills our mindless banter, as we stop buying into other peoples negative, fearful realities, we will collectively bring about a world of serenity and beauty.
Well that’s enough of my chatting for now, I had best focus on my lads legs and see them powering him up that steep hill right to the top with breath to spare… go DC, go!!!
