Hi everyone
I remember thinking it was raining a lot just lately and then I got to thinking about St.Swithens Day… Yes, you probably remember correctly too… ha ha ha!
St Swithen’s Day was on July 15th and it rained that day, so only 28 more days of rain to go 
We had a smashing little break in Southport but unfortunately I also took the term smashing a little too literally and pranged the car which it is now a write off…
So, here’s a suggestion… don’t drive a shiny silver car on wet roads in the sunshine. It makes you invisible!
Of course there are NO accidents, ever, not even if I have one… ha ha ha!
No-one was hurt and I have NO doubt that the final outcome of this event will be perfect… for all concerned 
Someone has to keep the car industry ticking over don’t they… ha ha ha!
Now, enough chuckling at my misfortune or good fortune we must do a question…
The question…
I am a Reiki 3 here in the USA. I seem to be drawn to animals, helping them with Reiki but not people.
My Reiki Master said I should practice on people but like I said, I seem to be drawn more to animals… specifically dogs. Is this OK?
The animals seem to be drawn to me wherever I go. What do you think? Thanks for any input you can give me!

The only person you need to ask for any guidance and/or permission to do anything, is yourself – and the only opinion that should count to you is YOUR OWN
Your heart is whispering to you, simply listen.
It is guiding you to do the right thing, for YOU, because now you are ready.
Some would call it intuition (inner teaching) and your intuition is strongly suggesting and pointing in the direction you may prefer to go.
The direction which may very well fill your heart with pleasure and joy.
So, trust yourself and your feelings implicitly… as they will never let you down…
…for they are your own personal guidance system!
Now, if you need a little help in trusting and recognising your own ‘whispers and wisdom’ then do have a look at the Intuition Zone site…

Just don’t mention your preferences to the cat population of course… ha ha ha !!!
And remember, the one you refer to as your Reiki Master is not your Master or master of anyone else. She is simply a Reiki Master to herself, as you are to you…
Do please, all of you, remember that.
We can never be Reiki Masters to others. That would be to take away their own power…
…and by accepting or acknowledging another as YOUR Reiki Master, means you are giving away your power to them.
Own Reiki, use it, strut it, share it But know it is yours and yours alone… for Chikara-Reiki-Do was, is and always will be only about Personal Autonomy.
