Judging Reiki

Hi Everyone…

It’s been a funny old week really, full of hiccups and mini disasters but, all in all, the energy is fabulous! Full of excitement and anticipation

And just when we thought ‘Oh no…’

…everything turned out more than fine and greatly to our benefit

Perfick!

It really was just like the Zen tale… is this a good thing or a bad thing? You know the one, I’m sure.

We had bad news, then good news, bad news, OK news… totally purrfick news and a bonus too… ha ha ha!!!

All of it just a journey to experience

How quickly the seasons change and the energy with them. We have some amazing mushrooms growing around here and also some of the bushes and plants are finding a second wind to bloom again.

It’s definitely turning Autumnal and the mornings are feeling chilly. Time to get the big furry blanket out to snuggle under while watching the TV Funny how one minute it’s still summer (sort of) and the next your whole body just KNOWS it’s Autumn.

You really do feel it in your bones, as they say. No wonder the birds know when it’s time to fly south

Our body’s really are fabulous and whisper so many things to us… all we have to do is listen.

And while you all listen to your bones cracking I will answer this week’s question… ha ha ha!!!

The question…

A client of mine experienced a feeling during Reiki and even all that night, of something flowing through her head and leaving her body.

I’ve not heard this before. Hopefully it’s the bad stuff leaving her.

Also when I see someone in pain or suffering I think of Reiki and it flows.

Sort of like a friend telling me her experience with breast milk flowing while attending a concert and hearing someone’s child whimper and cry.

Is this normal or am I over-reacting?

I wouldn’t call it over reacting, more just a natural physical reaction

The fact that you sense a change so readily in your own energy flow is brilliant. It really doesn’t matter what happens for anyone else.

This is your way, TRUST it and as such, it is the only way that counts for you. So nurture it amd allow it to become stronger

Similarly, your client is doing her own thing and shifting her energy patterns to suit herself right now. In a way that is perfect for her too.

We do not know if this way of ‘shifting her energy’ is a good thing or a bad thing… it just simply is.

But any change in the sensation of energy shows something is happening and it is always for the best.

Even if at the time we perceive it to be otherwise… ha ha ha !!!

Don’t judge it… Simply TRUST it… that’s all you have to do. Trust with a loving heart

Here’s a variation of the Zen Tale for those who have not heard it before…

‘Good thing Bad thing’.

There once was a farmer who owned a single horse. One day this stallion decided to run away.

All of the farmer’s neighbors came and showered him with pity. “Oh that’s terrible!” they said, “How are you going to make harvest?”

The farmer replied…

“Good thing? Bad thing? Who knows?”

About a week later the Stallion returned and brought 4 mares with him. Again the neighbors came by. “OH How LUCKY! Now you can get 5 times as much done!”

Again the farmer replied…

“Good thing? Bad thing? Who knows?”

A few days after that while his son was trying to tame one of the mares he fell off and broke his leg.

Once again the neighbors came by… “OH, how terrible! Now he can’t help you plow the fields or cut the crops!”

Again the farmer replied…

“Good thing? Bad thing? Who knows?”

Two weeks later war broke out and military officials came to enlist the farmers son but since he had a broken leg, they could not take him.

Again the farmer replied…

Good thing? Bad thing? Who can EVER know?

And so it is with life…
