Oh Lord, we have had deep frost and snow this week :-( But…

My friend in Hawaii wrote expressing how windy and chilly it was for her now winter was coming.

The temperature was down to a brisk 70 degrees she said … ha ha ha!

Definitely mega cardigan weather, then :-)

For us, that is better than the summer we’ve just had…

But then even today, with the weather at 30 degrees whilst out and about – well, that’s probably summer to a Siberian :-)

So just think on, every day is summer, to someone, somewhere… that is a cosy thought all by itself :-)

Now, remember I said last week I felt a clearout coming? Well I have had to clear out the bedroom wardrobe because I found a mould patch :-(

Chris’s trousers were mostly ruined and had to be thrown away or given to charity after a good washing.

But, all in all I have had a high old time sorting everything out. I really must guard against telling you all what I’m thinking though… ha ha ha !!!

And true to form challenges always come in three’s :-)

Friday we went for breakfast at Conundrum farm. The snows were beginning to melt and it had rained heavily.

The driveway was flooded but we thought it was passable so we proceeded with slow caution.

Blimey O’Reilly… what seemed like a deep puddle turned out to be almost a duck pond…aaaaahhhhhhh!

You see the photo’s in the papers but it never happens to you does it? Suddenly we were waist deep in water.

Fortunately the farmer was coming to close the drive, a little late for us but he towed us out.

DC’s ‘pride and joy’ (only had her 3 months) is now stuck in the barn on the farm waiting for the insurance assessors to come and see if she has to be written off.

She inhaled water into her engine apparently.

All support for DC whether good thoughts or financial gifts are most welcome… ha ha ha! :-)

It’s his birthday next week and he is really busy doing his theatre shows before Christmas too.

But there are no accidents ever. This made me sit up and think…

“You have to live the dream, not the fear”…

Worry is simply a prayer for the negative… you know the thing I mean – a kind of ‘I pray this or that never happens!’

So good thoughts everyone for a speedy right outcome would be much appreciated by us all… ha ha ha!

I have asked the farmer not to put the chickens in her yet :-)

Now, best answer a question or two… :-)

Q…How can I make myself stronger mentally. I need to let go of certain issues and move on.

Thanks Again, Martha

And my answer…

A… When we are emotionally attached to issues, they can be very hard to let go of.

The trick is not to take things so personally. Even if they are personal! Like your car sinking for instance… ha ha ha!

Use the Reiki mental/emotional symbol to balance your energy. Do this by working on your solar plexus and heart area every day.

Bringing love to the situation always helps. Simply ask “what would be the loving thing to do”. This will guide you to the best outcome.

Also, when you are grounded in the physical, then the mental state settles more too. So lots of brisk walking or hard housework etc :-)

Judith

Q… When giving someone healing (not distant healing), do I use the Power symbol first?

Then, if they have a physical ailment, which one would I use?

Regards, Julie

And my answer…

Hi Julie

A… Starting with the Power symbol first is a good opener but then follow with whichever symbol you ‘feel’ would be the best… for that moment in time.

Do not worry about the condition or the person in particular, just choose the symbol that ‘springs to mind’ when you put your hands on them.

Always TRUST yourself implicitly…

Then, when you feel the session has finished, use the Power symbol again, to seal and close the proceedings. :-)

Now for those of you who would like to send Reiki energy or prayers to DC’s predicament please send to…

His car, Miss Electra – Conundrum Farm, Berwick-upon-Tweed, UK and DC – Eyemouth, Scotland, UK

Thank you all in advance and I will let you know the outcome as it happens :-)

Until next week’s instalment then…

Judith
