Look out Australia, that tidal wave I was talking about must be on its way south by now… ha ha ha!

This week I’m going to do something a bit different. I’ve had a smashing email from one of our new Chikara-Reiki-Do Masters and it just goes to show how versatile Reiki can be. It also shows how quickly you can make your Reiki energy work for you with excellent results.

All you have to do is TRUST yourself

Dear Judith,

I celebrated my attunement with you last Friday, August 23rd. That was actually my second attunement as I had also self attuned the week before.

I would like to thank you for the gift of Reiki. It is already making a difference in my life.

I am in need of some physical healing in my back, as I have a herniated disc but the true healing that I have already received has been in the emotional realm.

I have suffered from depression and self-limiting thoughts for most of my adult life.

I can honestly say that I am healed of both of these.

I have some restructuring of my thought patterns but for the first time I feel free to change. It is as if my soul has had reconstructive surgery… in fact a total make-over!

I am already beginning to share this gift with others. It “works” in the emotional, spiritual and the physical realms.

Yesterday evening a friend and her husband and child dropped by for a visit. We had a lovely time together sharing laughter and some ice cream!

When they were ready to go home I walked them to their car and bade them farewell. Several minutes later I looked out my living room window to see that they had not yet left.

I called out to them and asked if they were having car troubles. She said her “darn Bug” wouldn’t start.

I quickly made the power symbol over the car with the intention of helping it to start up…and guess what—-IT DID!

Such a silly and insignificant example, but it bolstered my confidence. So far I have been healed of depression and set free from limiting thoughts… and Reiki “healed” a volkswagen!

Maybe I will even be able to avoid back surgery. So far, physical therapy has failed. Perhaps this is so others will be able to see that it is truly Reiki that heals!

Here is this weeks question…

“I would like to ask why some of the various symbols are reversed in other Reiki articles posted on the Internet? For example the Fire Serpent bottom swirl is counter clockwise, yet other Fire Serpent
symbols are clockwise.”

“Does it make any differences whether it is counter clock or clockwise?”

Hi D

Energy is energy but how you intend to use it is the key. For there to be one thing there has to be the other… Up/down, here/there, etc…

But also remember that within one thing is also contained the other.

It is simply up to you which variation of the energy you pull on and express.

Some will say that a reverse symbol is the reverse meaning of the energy expressed. But I disagree… ha ha ha !!!

Any symbol is just a symbol. It has no other meaning or power than that which YOU ascribe to it.

The more people who believe in it as symbolising that ‘particular energy’ then the stronger the symbol will appear to be… like the sign of the cross or the Nike ‘tick’…

But don’t believe me! Believe yourself!

Use all your symbols this way and that. Play with them, stretch them. Use them for everything. Use one at a time for a week and see what YOU feel about each one

Then you will KNOW what each symbol ‘means’ to you.
