Patience Of A Saint
Good afternoon all…
Happy Father’s Day to all you Dads’ out there…
I know it is not until September for some but hey, we don’t mind, you can be pampered today as well
We have just returned from a grand Dad’s Dinner at Geoff’s complete with posh table cloths
He really does do a splendid Sunday Lunch!
Heck… what a week it has been!
We must surely be heading for a drought this summer with all the rain we’re having.
Funny how they do that, isn’t it? One minute they’re giving us flood warnings and the next they’re slapping us with a hosepipe ban
But I suppose having all this rain has had its plus points – it allowed us to stay in, mostly, and be very busy with the Reiki package offer we recently sent out…
And, of course, the moment we did so – we immediately had computer ‘issues’, as you do… ha ha ha!!!
But I think we’ve sorted them all out now… fingers crossed.
I suppose what I really needed was some patience
At the first sign of trouble I rushed in to ‘fix things’ mode, and…
What I didn’t understand (which is plenty where computers are concerned, I can tell you!) I began to panic about… ha ha ha!!!
It was a kind of instant: ‘when in danger, when in doubt…
Run in circles, scream and shout’
But then eventually you get to thinking… chill, time out, patience.
It’s a nice word… patience, don’t you think?
Just saying it slows you down.
Lexigraming words also gives you clues.
This morning I noticed a key within the word patience.
Tap in…
In pain… tap in
Perfect for EFT practitioners… ha ha ha!!!
Being patient allows you to ‘tap in’ to the greater scheme of things.
Slowing down speeds up the process… have you noticed that?
It’s a kind of “Do nothing and all will be done” sort of thing…
By letting my own energy settle patiently, I could then deal patiently with what was occurring on the outside.
I tapped into the greater scheme of things and slowed down, thereby allowing things to unfold in a perfect manner.
And all was well in the world
A Reiki self ‘treat’ment session each morning is so good for slowing down your day too.
It allows you to ‘tap in’ to the source and achieve twice as much.
Sunday is a naturally patient kind of a day. It’s slow and relaxed.
But you can carry that comfortable pleasant feeling forward through the week simply by practicing your Reiki each day – how marvellous.
Well, I am off to pamper my husband now with a nice ‘cuppa Rosy Lee’ on the sofa
And I promise not to mention lawn mowers, squeaking door hinges or blocked drains for the rest of today… ha ha ha!!!
A man’s day off is a man’s day off
A heartfelt “Thank you” gentlemen, for all that you do for us ladies.
Patience girls…
Judith.
