Reiki Fakers And Shakers

Hi everyone
Surprise, surprise… I have added a couple of photos taken on Tuesday afternoon down by Cocklawburn beach. We had a couple of hours of sunshine so we rushed out before the rain set in again.
What the photos don’t show is the big ford we had to creep through. It spread all over the road and water was still gushing out from under a dry stone wall.
Oh, to be in England! (And we were actually, as the border is only 8 miles down the road.)
It still continues to rain but a little less frequently and not quite so heavily… Fingers crossed for an Indian Summer then 
Any summer for that matter… ha ha ha!
Now the feeling this week is one of ‘bumps and bruises’
So if you find yourself on the floor, sitting on your ’sit upon’ rather too quickly, do take a moment or two to perhaps consider what you are trying to tell yourself.
Why do you need such a vigorous reminder… ha ha ha !!! For there are no accidents, ever…
Several of you have had foot injuries or fallen and been stopped in your tracks…
Could this suggest a need to reconsider where you are heading in your lives?
Do you need to change direction? Perhaps be more confident and positive in your approach to something?
So, along with the arnica cream for the bruises of course, perhaps it’s a good time to stop and smell the roses, whilst deciding the next best course of action for YOU.
Slow down, be aware and listen to your whispers or life will simply have to give you a vigorous shout… ha ha ha!!!
Take some ‘me’ time and always include a Reiki ‘treat’ for yourself on a daily basis.
Reiki self treatments help you to feel calm and serene.
They allow you time to listen to your body and for you to steady and watch your thoughts. Then ‘all’ will become clear in the fullness of time… and without the ouch bit too.
It never hurts to re-evaluate what we want out of life, for as we change, our needs and desires change too.
It never hurts to slow down and take a different turn in life. One that would make us more happy and therefore fulfilled and content.
It never hurts to streamline and de-clutter as we go too…
So, while you are sitting down, NOW. Power up your palms with Reiki…
One hand on your heart, the other on your solar plexus… close your eyes and see what you want to be doing this time next year.
Next Christmas…
Next month… next week… tomorrow…

The short answer is yes…
But becoming good at anything including Reiki, takes personal experience. Becoming a good teacher is an art in itself
People often say we are doing a dis-service to Reiki and that people will go out there and bring Reiki into disrepute because they ‘can’t really do it’.
I truly know that not to be so.
If you cannot do what you say you can do, then you will be found out and no-one will go to you. Charlatans and fly-by-nights will always fall by the wayside whilst looking for the next thing to bolster their ego.
Reiki is simple to learn and understand but being good at it, being powerful, dynamic, and the very best you, you can be, is a totally different matter.
For understanding what Reiki is and what it can do FOR YOU, can be life changing. And that can also be very scary.
To understand you are the Reiki Power and to use that Reiki Power is awesome.
People who want to mis-use that energy are the first ones to get burnt. They have not the patience or the intelligence to get to grips with ‘it’ because that means going deeper into themselves and they cannot and will not do that.
They get bored and disinterested the moment they realise that they cannot ’sell Reiki’ without first exposing themselves as fake.
The moral being, that when you are ready to expand yourself, Reiki will be there for you as a key to unlock your potential.
If you are not ready, the door will remain firmly closed.
Trust yourself…you can spot a dodgy faker of anything, be that a second hand car salesman trying to sell you a lemon or a partner who cheats on you, to a doctor who doesn’t know your **** from your elbow…ha ha ha!
OK then, now seems a good moment to mention that…
