Reiki Tips For Wandering Thoughts
Listen In Audio
Good mornin’ all…
The weather has suddenly gone a bit damp and misty this week but the garden seems to like it
No sitting out listening to birds singing this week, not without a raincoat anyway… ha ha ha!
Which brings my thoughts around to this week’s question. A question we have all asked and most of us are still working on the answer
The question: Printed as received and unedited.
my q is that while giving reiki to my self many other unwanted thaughts come into my mind that has no meaning at that time
pls glve some solution to my problem what should i do for that.
And my answer:
A… Simply watch your thoughts but don’t ‘join in with them’. Let them come and go as they please.
The more you do this, the less your thoughts will come. But you will always have things going on in your mind.
The trick is not to ‘add’ to them… just watch them come and go… like ships in the night.
But this is where a handy guided meditation can be of such tremendous help
You see, we are all tempted to go off on a tangent with our thoughts, when we sit quietly and ponder on life, the universe and all who sail in her.
But with a simple guided meditation the music or words or sounds keep you right where you’re supposed to be.
Yes, you might wander off a little or even snooze but a good meditation is designed to ‘hold’ you in that deeply relaxing meditative space.
Perfick for a Sunday afternoon too… ha ha ha!
Just another thought here, if you need an excuse for chocolate or cake this weekend then please join us in celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee.
Then it’ll be Wimbledon, then the Olympics, then…
Until next week…
