It’s Easy When You Know How…
Hi everyone
Well we have had a marvellous week!
Thanks to all of you who have sent healing to DC’s friend Tom he is now on the mend
That is a real miracle…
Then Chris and I went away to Chester for a couple of days too.
We had a wonderful time in Chester and the weather was cold but kind to us.
We missed all the showers and only went out as the sun came out!
How perfect is that?
The first night I woke up at 4am and nudged Chris awake to tell him there was someone in the attic walking about.
He had to reassure me we were in a hotel in Chester… ha ha ha!!!
We shopped till we dropped and got some champion bargins.
We got to chat to some old friends in the shops and had a lovely time.
The journey there and coming home was nice too and we discovered a smashing little farm tea shop that did a gorgeous lunch
Coming over Shap Fell (The highest motorway in Engand) we saw 9 cars all slipping on the slushy road.
And this morning we had our first snow here!!!
It was so beautiful… just a fine dusting like icing sugar all over the place but as soon as the sun came up it started to melt.
Everyday here, is like a blessing from heaven
DC has been practicing his drums while we were away and listening to him last night, I realised that life needs to be practiced too at times.
I resist change like so many others but anything is ‘easy when you know how’.
You just need to practice a bit more to get into your rythm or stride!!!
Even if you have a natural talent for something it still requires you to fine tune your abilities if you are going to make anything of it.
That goes for Reiki or playing the drums
But the most important thing is to play to your own rythm… listen to the beat of your own drum only.
We each bring our own unique rythm to life and that is what makes it so diverse and interesting.
As we practice what we have learnt from another, as with the Reiki or drum riffs, we find we want to add on, change or modify the rythm to something that ‘feels’ more like our own.
Something that uniquely reflects the beat from our own hearts.
Then you are in the flow… or is it groove!!!
Then you become at one with ‘your Reiki’ rythm…
So don’t be afraid to create your own Reiki rythm… your own unique expression, of your way of using the Reiki energy.
The underlying beat is still there… but the added harmony, melody you bring to it will be a beautiful addition.
Powerful and perfect for the situation you find yourself in.
Excellent…
Now where did I put those ear defenders..?
Warm regards
Judith
