To Reiki Or Not To Reiki – That Is The Question?

Mornin’ everyone…

Before you ask… yes, it is still raining here!

In fact on Friday you couldn’t see beyond the end of the nose on your face for the fog or sea mist or low cloud or whatever it was…

Ho hum… let’s hope we have a hot winter… ha ha ha!

I feel sorry for the farmers who have had their crops flattened with the heavy rain and no sun to ripen it properly either

Now they will claim another food shortage and triple the prices again. I wonder why they don’t release some of that European stock pile they talk about at times like these.

No, too sensible!

Did anyone notice the solar eclipse? It was already very dull here but it went as dark as a moonlit night for a while.

Now, we are moving into a new phase at the moment and we all need to be sure we know where we are going…

…so it’s a good time to write down your dreams and schemes and start taking action towards achieving all those bloomin’ desires.

But heavens, how we procrastinate at times… ha ha ha!

Come on, we can all do it together, right NOW

Okay then what’s been happening this week?

Well, it’s seen many people briefly touching the surface of what their potential is.

There have been fleeting glimpses of what might be possible.

Also, several times this week I have dallied with dropping ‘the labels’ given to me…

Because, when I stop being the Reiki Master, psychic, writer, healer, nurse, English, advice giver, computer ‘expert’ (as if!) Mother, wife, best friend, old friend, the occupier, owner of, bill payer, female…

…I am simply me.

However there is always a tendency to become distracted and confused by it all – but to be sure, I can only be me, and YOU can only be you!

Dropping your labels gives you such a sense of freedom and also a connection to the whole…

Your invisible barriers drop away.

You have gifts and talents all of your own, that are unique to you.

(But it’s strange, how we still seek the approval of others before we can give ourselves the ‘go ahead’ – or realise that the talent really does belong to us and we can actually develop it as we wish )

Develop them, play with them, have fun with them for you truly do not need anyone else’s approval or permission to do so.

And you don’t need to label your talents either. They are just another part of the grand total of you

In particular, you don’t really need certificates saying you can do what you can do.

You either can or you can’t… easy as that.

A certificate is just someone else’s opinion of you, and the only opinion that should ever mean anything to you – is YOURS.

So do try to remember that.

Okay yes, before you all write to me…

I know the law is the law and we all have to play that particular game but do give yourselves credit for being independent, adult, human beings…

…and to also remember that no-one is ‘better’ than you – or worse for that matter.

Pull me off the soap box now please… ha ha ha!!!

But I’m sure you all have the drift of what I’m saying.

Quickly, let’s get on to this week’s question… which is…

I would like to ask you a question concerning REIKI treatments.

I would like to know when a person undergoes “Healing crisis” should the person continue the sessions or stop a little while?

Or not as often?

Do carry on with the sessions as this will help to clear things out for good.

No good doing half a job – when you have things on the move keep them moving – when the energy is shifting keep pushing.

But if the energy shift is too uncomfortable either physically, mentally or emotionally then be guided by your own feelings on this and adjust the appointment times accordingly.

Remember ANY change is good, as this donates a positive movement of energy.

You also may have to cope with any ‘emotional vomits’ the person may have, so be prepared to give extra support where necessary.

And that might just be a big hug…

(But only if you have your massage certificate, Reverend certificate, Reiki certificate, Insurance certificate, etc of course… ha ha ha!!!)

If in doubt simply ask yourself what it is you would like as help and support if you were in the same situation.

Just TRUST YOURSELF implicitly.
