Chikara-Reiki-Do for Normal People..?
Good mornin’ all
So, what, exactly, is ‘normal’…?
Just sharing a quick thought here but, if you have say, Downs Syndrome, and you go to a school full of other Downs Syndrome children…
…then who’s classed as being ‘normal’?
The one or two teachers and helpers or β the majority of children?
To each child they’d be the majority and therefore in their minds (and mine) β the normal ones π
Same at a diabetic clinic or spinal unit, or a blind school, or a school for the deaf, or a Reiki share group!
In a Reiki share group, touching and sharing personal insights seems normal but try explaining that to the lady next to you on the bus!
And as I’ve pointed out before, if I say I’m a psychic and can talk to spirit whilst in the doctors waiting room, the receptionist will probably think I’m not normal…
But, put me a room at a psychic fair with lots of other psychics and people pay me and want to know what my voices say…ha ha ha!…
Chuckling Chikara-Reiki-Do
Good mornin’ all
Sometimes we all need bringing down to earth!
And you can do so by having a laugh with Chikara-Reiki-Do π
You see, sometimes we climb on pedestals and become pompous!
Sometimes we forget life is funny.
We forget the funny side of things π
Take Reiki for instance…
We’ve all met those supreme Reiki beings, who seem so much better than us ordinary Chikara-Reiki-Do mortals.
They know 10-20-100 different symbols, whereas we only use 6.
They have a pre-set ritual for every event, whereas we say wing it!
They seem to know it all, whereas we suggest you guess, trusting your own intuition π
So, I thought I would talk about the Fire Finger this week…
Occupational Chikara-Reiki-Do
Good mornin’ all
I thought the other day about how many times people have asked me for ‘career’ advice or if there’s a new job on the horizon for them.
Hmmmm, very interesting.
You see, to me a CAREER always sounds like a long-term commitment to a boring job.
You know what I mean β the 40 hours a week, stretching into 40 years with a, you’ll be very lucky to even get one these days, pension at the end… ha ha ha!
Yes, it maybe starts off being interesting and something you really want to be good at, but that wears off!
Or the new job β a JOB stands for you being Just Over Broke while making someone else rich. π
And doing a job solely for the money IS selling your soul to the devil!…
Watching & Chikara-Reiki-Do
Good mornin’ all
Earlier in the week I had a smashing idea for this Sunday Chat, but…
…then, I got out of bed and by the time I’d arrived downstairs I’d completely forgotten what it was I was going to write about… ha ha ha!
Yes, I’ve tried to ‘re-member’ or ‘capture’ that thought again but it’s no good.
There’s just a tantalising feeling in the back of my mind, but that’s all…
Soap bubble thinking we call it π
But, not to worry β if it’s meant to be shared, I’m sure it’ll come again π
Just like so many things appear to come and go β and it’s the same in life.
Things on the outside may appear to change β your job, finances, where you live, friends, relationships, etc.
Like backdrops in a stage play…
Chikara-Reiki-Doβ¦ All That Isβ¦
Good mornin’ all
There’s a lovely saying from the film The Last Samurai, where the Emperor asks Tom Cruise to tell him how his friend had died.
And Tom replies:
“I will not tell you how he died, I will tell you how he lived!”
And I think this is a wonderful way of considering the legacy of your life and your Chikara-Reiki-Do energy.
Death has been a topic of conversation recently, for one reason or another, and we’d all do well to remember the saying above.
For it doesn’t matter how you eventually pop your clogs, but it does matter how you lived beforehand π
So, let’s not FEAR how our end might come and let’s get on with LIVING life to the full!…
