Here’s another Reiki question I received this week…
Q. I wonder if you could help with an issue I have. I have been asked to help give Reiki to dementia patients, I was happy to do this, but a friend has questioned consent. I thought if I asked their higher self that would be ok but my friend said that because they are unable to consent themselves Reiki shouldn’t be given. Could you give your views please? Thank you xx
And my answer:
Blimey! This old chestnut again!
Look, when a baby cries do you ask its permission to comfort it?
No, you just do it because it feels right.
When a child falls over and cries do you stop to ask if you can have permission to hold their knee and rub it better?
No, you just do it, because we all have a built-in radar that says that’s the right thing to do.
It’s only PC people that think touching each other and comforting each other or holding each other in times of distress is somehow ‘wrong’ or immoral or a prelude to lewd behaviour…

Limitless Reiki?
Well no! After all, we all have our limits don’t we, but then again…
It’s US who actually sets those limits on ourselves…
But Chikara-Reiki-Do isn’t limited – limitless Chikara-Reiki-Do is a given! 🙂
So, how about we push back the boundaries we set for ourselves.
And what better time to do this, than at the beginning of a new season. 🙂
And a positively marvellous way to do that, is by actually USING Chikara-Reiki-Do on yourself each and every day 🙂 …
Chikara-Reiki-Do and a Watery Experience

Now, I’ve got an idea I’d like to share with you – and this is for anyone interested in changing your world, by changing YOUR mind.
So, let’s all ‘do nothing, so all can be done’…
Just for a moment or two…
So that in that giant vacuum of silence, that enormous still space that we create, clarity will unfold in front of us like the parting of the Red sea 🙂
And we all know the magic of water, don’t we 🙂
So, go to a lake, or the beach, or just wallow in a bathtub while you do your nothingness.
No bathtub, then simply take a big bowl of water and soak your feet in it 🙂
Come on, use your imagination!
Because I want you to wallow in water (or paddle) and dream dreams of love and happiness and sunshine!
No words – simply use your intention to infuse your water with your love.
The water will read and react to the feelings of pleasantness and love and harmony within you.
And, it’ll receive those feelings and carry them around the world within itself…
Why do all Reiki Masters have to be clones?

Diversity is what makes life interesting and stimulating, don’t you agree?
And diversity in Reiki is imperative!
If we’re all the same, then that would be so boring.
Imagine every client or customer you wanted to help or heal had the same bloomin’ problem!
Well, why do all Reiki Masters have to be clones?
Simple answer? – They don’t 🙂
It’s wonderful and absolutely natural for each and every type of Reiki Master to be a free thinking, individual, independent and a unique expression of their own energy…
So, if you feel you’d like to become a powerful, free thinking, independent, unique expression of your own energy, otherwise known as an INDIVIDUAL, then Reiki is for you.
At least, Chikara-Reiki-Do is! 🙂 …
