Good mornin’ all,
I’ve combined several handy questions here, so you can get the gist of my replies as they might apply to your experience 🙂
Q – Since doing my Chikara-Reiki-Do self attunement, although my hands are normally very warm, now the centre area of my palms is really roasting, particularly the left. They also tingle.
I experience quite an intense heat going in and out through the top of my head, PHEW incredible. Even to touch it’s quite hot.
I’ve never had my head feeling like this!
Is this normal?
A – Well, yes! It’s ‘normal’ for YOU 🙂
When you first experience your own flow of Reiki energy it can often be a rush or gush or there may simply be lots of it 🙂
I would suggest you use your Reiki, as often as possible, on yourself first, to steady and ease into the flow.
And remember to drink plenty of Reiki charged water too. 🙂
Your nervous system requires more water to smooth the synapses as they happen – water conducts the electrical jump. That’s a bit techy sounding but it’s actually what’s happening 🙂
Also, try visualising the energy flowing happily in you and through you and out through your feet into the ground.
But don’t worry, your energy will eventually settle down.
Simply enjoy its vim and vigour for now. 🙂 …
Good mornin’ all,
Now, people talk of the Reiki energy as “flowing through them”.
They talk of being channels and light-beings etc.
But what is the Reiki flow and how can Reiki become blocked?
What actually happens that gives you this sensation of ‘energy moving’?
Well, first you have to understand…
There really is only ONE energy 🙂
It is YOU and YOU are it 🙂
You are everything and everything is you 🙂
Therefore… you are Reiki and Reiki is you.
There is no separation, duality or two of anything, really!
There is only YOU… 🙂
EVERYTHING is a demonstration or manifestation of this ‘one energy’, and the ritual Reiki attunement serves only to awaken you to this fact.
For you see, Reiki is a tool to use, demonstrate and ‘feel’ this energy, which is you, inside and out.
But YOU are the power…
I’m just going to leave you to ponder on this little saying below:
“Serenity is not freedom from the storm but peace amid the storm.”
And if that’s not a succinct way of describing exactly what happens
to YOU, when you use Reiki on yourself and for yourself, then blow
me down with a feather! 🙂
How quickly the seasons change and the energy with them…
It’s definitely turning Autumnal and the mornings are feeling chilly.
Funny how one minute it’s still summer (sort of) and the next your whole body just KNOWS it’s autumn.
You really do feel it in your bones, as they say.
No wonder the birds know when it’s time to fly south 🙂
Our body’s really are fabulous and whisper so many things to us, and all we have to do is listen. 🙂
So while you all listen to your bones creaking, I’ll answer a question 🙂
Q – A client experienced an odd feeling during Reiki, which continued through the night, of something flowing through her head and leaving her body.
Hopefully it’s the bad stuff leaving her. Is this normal?…
We had a lovely few days with June and Ross 🙂 Giggling and laughing is uplifting and clears your ‘channels’ perfickly 🙂
Now, I’d better get on… Here’s a question…
Q – How can I make myself stronger mentally? I need to let go of certain issues and move on.
I do my Reiki every day and sometimes more than once a day, if I need to help someone else. I find Reiki so healing and comforting. 🙂
A – Or more simply put – how to be a winner with Reiki..? 🙂
When you’re so emotionally attached to issues, they can be hard to release.
Sometimes you fear letting go because that’ll then be the ‘end of it’ and perhaps you’re not truly ready to move on?
What benefit do you still gain by hanging on to your issues?
If you let them go, what would you like to replace them with?…
