What is a Reiki Master?
Good morning all!
What is a Chikara-Reiki-Do Master?
Well, how long’s a piece of string?
Initially, a Chikara-Reiki-Do Master is simply someone who’s had the Chikara-Reiki-Do Master Self Attunement and has been given all the information that goes with it.
Plus a Chikara-Reiki-Do Master certificate of course! 🙂
But are you then truly a Chikara-Reiki-Do Master?
For becoming a master of anything takes time surely?
Perhaps a lifetime!
Mastership needs to be grown into.
A real Master has a natural affinity for what he’s doing.
A Master carpenter has a feel for the wood he works with.
He knows how to bend it, turn it, polish it.
He knows which wood is good for doing this or that.
The Master carpenter loves the wood.
And the wood responds to his touch.
The wood and the carpenter become inseparable – they’re one with each other.
He respects the nature of the wood and is grateful for what the wood gives him…
Reiki Level 2 And The Symbols…
Good morning all!
At this stage in your Chikara-Reiki-Do development,’ it’s time to play with the symbols.
You’ve practiced using your Chikara-Reiki-Do energy and now you need to be more specific, more intentioned if you like.
So, for the next 6 weeks, just use one symbol a week.
Sleep with it under your pillow.
Find uses for it in every situation that you can.
See how it changes the subtle flow of your Chikara-Reiki-Do energy within you.
Notice which ones are becoming your favorite symbols to use.
The Power Symbol may be the one for you, but you may find that the Distance Symbol opens all the options up for you.
Personally, I love the Distance Symbol.
For I like to open all the doors and windows of opportunity in every situation 🙂
To work on all levels all at once – to pounce on a problem from every direction! 🙂
From all dimensions, as in past present and future…
Fix the lot all in one go, so to speak 🙂
I love the Distance Symbol because it opens me up exponentially too.
To me, it’s about acceptance and embracing the ALL of it…
Reiki Level 1 – The Chikara-Reiki-Do Way…

Here at Chikara-Reiki-Do we don’t split Reiki up into different levels because to us, there is only One Energy and you are the All of It… but we can give our opinions on the subject so…
Let’s talk about Reiki 1, and how to get going.
For, we all have to start somewhere.
We were all beginners at one time, but nobody wants to spend their hard earned cash on a beginner, do they?
They may be no good 🙂
Or, they may be brilliant – but who would take the gamble?
So, how do we gain some much needed experience?
Simple – start with yourself.
YOU are always your best first client.
Always positive, enthusiastic and always on time… 🙂
Who better to pass judgement and give you honest feedback?
Who better to experiment on?
With yourself, you can practice long and hard, or quick and easy.
You can sit or lie down.
You can listen to soft music or something more upbeat.
You can use that incense, and start coughing because the room’s too small – or use scented candles instead!…
That Chikara-Reiki-Do Feeling
Good morning all!
Have you ever noticed how Sunday mornings have that feeling of Chikara-Reiki-Do?
Well, “you’ve got that Reiki feelin” – could that be a song?
If you get up early on a Sunday morning, the stillness and silence is much greater than say, on a Monday morning.
Even the mice have a lie in!
The air is still and the pace relaxed.
Wouldn’t it be nice if every day was like this?
Perhaps it’s because Sunday’s more simple in its design.
It’s more hunter/gatherer 🙂
Often there’s hard physical work with gardening or fixing the house up, followed by large amounts of food 🙂
And even though we have lots to accomplish within the day, we’re more congenial and relaxed about it.
We can move the time frame, goal posts, as we wish…
Reiki is YOU… YOU Are the Reiki..!
Good morning all!
Each Chikara-Reiki-Do Master is unique. It can be no other way because it’s YOUR Reiki life path.
We are all unique individuals. Independent of each other, yet somehow inexplicably linked.
You see, we crave touch – to feel alive.
We crave connection to another – to feel individual.
We crave belonging – to feel acceptance.
We crave to know our past, so we can feel justified – “I’m related to the Queen, you know” 🙂 etc.
But Chikara-Reiki-Do Mastership is about YOU, and YOUR personal progression inwards.
A kind of, anyone who goes within never goes without, so to speak.
For life is but a reflection of where you are at this moment…
So, experiences get ‘closer to home’.
And some, become ‘too close for comfort’!
But when your comfort zones are pushed… then you are really making strides in the ‘right’ direction! 🙂
For Chikara-Reiki-Do Mastership is never what you expect.
You may have come to Chikara-Reiki-Do with your own agenda. Some (most) come to ‘heal the world’ and all who sail in her…
Some to make money by helping others.
Some to join a Reiki Family’ – to belong…
