Happy New Year!
I always think I should be saying something inspiring and encouraging at this time of the year but I generally say those sort of things ALL the year round…
As it’s my nature to be positive and see the silver lining and usually the funny side of a drama too 🙂
Now, I’ve noticed in my readings, which is where ‘general trends’ tend to reveal themselves, that this coming year is going to be about CONNECTIONS.
Making connections on a deeper level with everything and everyone
And I don’t mean that in a business sense, like networking… ha ha ha!
Although let me take this opportunity to say it’s fine to share our site with all your friends… ha ha ha!
The connections I’m talking about mean looking more deeply INSIDE and connecting first with your real self and then expressing your real essence outwards towards others.
For when you’re real, then the CONNECTIONS you make are genuine too. 🙂
When you connect with the real you, on an internal level then you very quickly develop a deep TRUST. Just because you KNOW things 🙂
And you do know, you’ve always known but choose to ignore the signs.
Well, not anymore!
Trust your connection and your INTUITION will come on in leaps and bounds!
Connecting with yourself, listening to yourself, allows you to be more ‘steadfast and true’ to your very nature – the real you 🙂
Others will notice the SHIFT in you because you’ll be gently more self-confident, more poised, more powerful and self-aware.
And as I’ve said many times, the more self-aware you become, by simply connecting with your inner self – using your Reiki, for example, every day – Then the more exponentially aware of your external circumstances and situations and ALL OTHERS, you will become.
As you can see through your own facade, so you’ll see right through others 🙂 …

You should all be peeling fiddly little sprouts and eating chocolates for breakfast!
Sprouts and big boxes of chocolates 🙂 That brings back childhood memories 🙂
Every little girl I knew had the big box, with the fancy satin ribbon saved under her bed with special things in it. 🙂
I still like putting things, in things! Must be a girl thing 🙂
I want to say a big thank YOU for dropping by this morning and simply being there 🙂
Just popping in and perhaps smiling as you read this, is enough to direct and share your energy with me – so thank you 🙂

Disarmingly Simple!

Well, this time next week we’ll all be knee deep in sprouts and chocolates! 🙂
And trying to remain calm in the midst of chaos!
Which can also mean becoming ‘peacekeepers’ in some very volatile situations 🙂
Just remember – many a true word is spoken in jest!
Here’s my simple idea for disarming the world but it also works for tense Christmas gatherings, when certain factions of your family come together for a ‘spoiler’ and a return ‘grudge match’ 🙂
Have you heard the saying: “He has a very disarming smile”?
Well, a smile is such a simple thing but it can pack a powerful punch too. 🙂
Because when someone genuinely smiles, they’re demonstrating that they’re relaxed and no threat to you.
But a bigger thing that comes across, is that they’re not afraid of YOU either!…
Reiki For Pain
Good mornin’ all…
Whenever I answer a question, I reply intuitively to each individual one.
So if another person asked virtually the same question, my answer might be very different.
So…
Q – I took your Reiki course about 6 months ago to help my husband, who keeps having pains all over his body.
I do Reiki on him but it just seems to work for a day and then the next day the pain is back again.
I don’t understand. I thought Reiki would heal him or cure him of this.
My Reiki doesn’t seem like it does anything to heal him. It just seems like a good band-aid. What good is it, if it doesn’t cure him?
A – Oooh! I love using the ‘cure’ word 🙂
Now, do you TRUST yourself?
TRUST that whatever the outcome is, it’s perfect for all concerned. 🙂
You KNOW your Reiki works because it creates an effect, even if that’s apparently short lived.
What your husband needs to do is begin to accept responsibility for his own illness.
He can’t just sit back and expect you to cure him!
Only he has the power to cure himself. 🙂
He can’t blame you for your Reiki not healing him.
You’re simply sharing your energy with him. What he and his body does with that extra energy is totally up to him. 🙂
It’s his choice…

Simply by being you. The very best you, you can be. 🙂
And I don’t mean pretending to be a false you, the one you think others will like.
I mean honouring the real you.
I mean respecting the real you.
I mean loving the real you…
