Can Children Cope with Reiki Energy?

I’m a direct sort of a person so let’s jump straight in this week 🙂
Q… I was chatting to a Reiki practitioner and telling her of my plan to work with children.
By day I’m a Steiner Kindergartener. Her response was interesting in that she thought the ‘reaction’ would be too powerful for children to be immersed in?
This is not my interpretation, but, as a Reiki novice I’m keen to learn 🙂
A… Here’s what I think 🙂

I’m with you, it’s not my interpretation of Reiki energy either and I TRUST YOU to know what’s ‘too much’ and for who…

I was chatting with Chris the other day and he was talking about diseases and statistics etc…
And it struck me that no-one dies of old age or natural causes any more.
Call me old fashioned 🙂 but nowadays it seems you’re not allowed to just die, you must die of ‘something’.
If it’s not an obvious cause, like being hit by a bus or rotting parts, then they love to cut you open to see if they can discover something, in fact anything… 🙂
But you must conform, even in death, and you must have the proper label to tie on your big toe… ha ha ha!
Years ago I used to say that people died of old age because they didn’t visit a doctor, so no-one knew why Granny sat in the corner and never went out.
Ladies had ‘ladies problems’ that were unmentionable and so, of course, weren’t mentioned.
Gentlemen, ahem, likewise… 🙂
Call me old fashioned 🙂 but people appeared to pass with more dignity.
It was simply time to die. Death was a much more natural occurrence, more a part of life.
Yes they had ’causes’ for their demise but they simply let things run their course, naturally.
It was a natural event that everyone shared.
Children and the dogs played outside whilst being told – “Granny’s dying, keep the noise down”… ha ha ha!
But you and Granny accepted the next step, embraced it without fear and moved on.
I’m sure some diseases are made-up nowadays just for the sake of something to write on your label (In fact I know they are, but that’s another story)
Life/Death, pleasure/pain, Balance/chaos, Fun/boredom, Joy/sorrow, control/breakdown, inner/outer…
When we embrace life to the full we are fun, we are full of fun, we are fun filled, we are happy and funny.
Life is a joy to be in…
It flows along at a chaotic speed and, have you noticed how happy people rarely get sick? 🙂
So, never lose your sense of humour… it could be fatal… 🙂

There is only one energy… (you’ve never heard that one before!) 🙂
So, there’s really only one of us listening here in the room – for I’m simply you answering yourself back 🙂
If you’re here, it’s because you choose to hear what I/you have to say at this moment in time.
The outer experiences reflect the inner thoughts we hold.
Like yin and yang.
Within one, is the other.
You reflect my serious side and I reflect your fun side.
When you get too stuck in the serious mentality, you’ll come across someone like me 🙂
And I will be seriously funny for you 🙂
You see, there are NO accidents, EVER…
You already are the all of it, a fully enlightened spiritual consciousness here to simply physically experience whatever it is, you wish to experience and in that wishing to also have FUN.
Spirituality is not a serious condition 🙂
If you can look back and laugh at something in six months time, you can laugh at it NOW! 🙂
And laughter is the best medicine we’re told!…

I hope you all kept busy this yesterday – rescuing damsels in distress and eating Red Dragon Pie. 🙂
Of course, you’d only have done that if you remembered it was St George’s day!
And, as the English don’t seem to celebrate it by getting as drunk as a skunk, it does tend to get totally overlooked 🙂
It was also the Queen’s birthday on Thursday, which makes it sound like a jolly English sort of a week, was had by all 🙂
But let’s not digress too much from today’s topic, which is, sending a blanket covering of Reiki to your list or upcoming event, etc.
There are many sites nowadays that do distant healing lists.
You can join these groups and send Reiki energy regularly to heal your favourite things.
Maybe animals are your favourite or saving the planet, or honey bees, or just simply your family and friends.
Or perhaps you’ve an event coming up that you’d like to ‘charge with Reiki’ beforehand, so you can relax on the day.
Perhaps a show, exam or business meeting with the bank manager 🙂
So the question is – What’s a good way to send distant healing to a list or events?
Should I randomly pick out some names? Or write their names down and focus on just one or a few at a time? Or would it work to print out the whole list, fold it up and send to all at once?…
