Reiki Is Not Just For Healing
Mornin’ all…
The east coast has been under a slight cloud this week, when the rest of the country has had at least some sunshine π
It’s been dull and dingy but again very mild at times. I hate having to put the lights on during the day, as it really starts to feel like winter is coming π
But on a positive note, it’s been a lot drier and I’m still wearing white π
Now, the first question is rather long so let’s begin…
Q… I have a comment rather than a question. I’ve just listened to your Sunday Reiki chat, “A Career in Reiki”. You make some excellent points and offer valuable advice to those who might consider a career path as a Reiki practitioner.
I have a slightly different view on this subject, which I’d like to share.
When I was first introduced to Reiki in 1989 I was overwhelmed and astonished by my own profound and powerful experiences.
Those experiences were so astonishing that I became quite enthusiastic, to put it mildly. So moved by the transformational nature of Reiki, was I, that I was convinced that this certainly must be a career path for me to follow.
At that time, in my area, becoming a master required paying $10,000 CDN and spending a full year as apprentice to an established master.
I was so drawn to the idea of becoming a master that I was prepared to get a loan to cover the cost of the apprenticeship.
To make a very long story short, before I could take that next step I had several remarkable “interventions” which not only stopped me from pursuing Reiki full time, but also gave me tremendous respect for insight, instinct and intuition – as well as what I’ve come to call, “the process”.
Without going into detail, I received a powerful message that I was in fact an “unhealed healer”. The purpose of Reiki in my life was to heal others by healing myself.
I received this message more than once, in various ways. However, each time it was very obvious and very clear that I needed to reconsider the idea of using Reiki to treat others as a practitioner.
I was simply stunned and to be honest, kind of set back on my heels. At first the messages I received seemed to be a contradiction.
Having been initiated, I now had the ability to help others heal, something that resonated very strongly with me…
If Reiki is LOVE, What Is FEAR?
Good mornin’ all…
The energy this week seems to be all about CONFIDENCE. Great if you have it and hopeless if you don’t… ha ha ha!
And I don’t mean the arrogant, cocky sort, I mean the deep seated, steadfast and true confidence that comes from knowing just who you really are AND what you are capable of π
Others sense your confidence immediately and can smell a whiff of fear like a pack hound does!
Real confidence comes from within because you KNOW yourself so well. You can TRUST yourself above all else.
So, the questions this week…
Q… If I am a Reiki Master, how do I become a Reiki Master Teacher? And do you do a certificate for the Reiki Master Teacher?
And my answer…
Crystal Healing with Reiki
Good mornin’ all…
First let me say a big ‘Thank you’ to all who wrote in with Happy Anniversary wishes.
The time really does fly when you are happy π
However the weather’s not been so happy β it’s been appalling this week and wet is not the word, just soggy I think… ha ha ha!
But in true English fashion I will not allow a few rain drops to put a dampener on life…
In fact the story of how Chris and I got together involves a small red umbrella and a good downpour… ha ha ha!
Ahhh… the romance of it all π
Now to ease me back to the computer gently, I’m going to answer a question with a previous article π
So, question… (gosh, that sounds familiar!)…
Reiki and Money
Good mornin’ all…
I’ve had a cold this week and sounded very much like Ertha Kitt… ha ha ha!
It was a well needed clearout and a nice bit of pampering went with it too π
But I’ve really felt the cooler weather – and the high winds have made it sound cold, even when it wasn’t π
Nothing a hot water bottle resting on the kidneys and Vicks vapour rub on my feet couldn’t fix though… ha ha ha!
The truth is, I feel champion all round lately, despite the coughing and sneezing π
So, as I am feeling in fine fettle again, let me address a very basic situation which seems to arise every time we send out an email for one of our new products…
Especially if it’s all about MONEY… ha ha ha! And, boy does that seem to rattle people.
But the plain truth is you cannot function to any degree without it in this life experience.
In fact, the more you have, the more you can do and help others – if that is your desire.
Look, if you cannot help yourself and provide for you, then what earthly good are you to anyone else?
What example do you set?
You see, spirituality and poverty absolutely DO NOT belong together β and if you believe that they do you’ve bought into the religious ploy designed to keep you well and truly down trodden.
Consider this…
We live in a total illusion β and even our scientists/physicists are now confirming that.
So in this world of illusion why is it that the only illusion most people reckon they can’t have more of, is money? π
It’s simply a matter of creating your own illusion of personal wealth…
…by creating the right mind set.
Thoughts, words and ACTION!
It’s very strange to me that on the one hand people tell me they love listening to my particular brand of wisdom…
…but if I offer any hint on creating MONEY I suddenly grow horns… ha ha ha!
So, I will say this again…
Confidence in Reiki
Good mornin’ all…
Autumn is definitely here now and we have the wind and rain to prove it π We’ve even had the fires on to stave off the damp, chilly feeling.
The leaves are falling, the crops are harvested and the countryside looks gloriously pastoral, with hay bales all neatly stacked in rows in golden fields.
Blimey, I’ll be breaking out into song in a minute… ha ha ha!
So, to spare you that I’ll answer a question – it’s not directly a Reiki question but interesting nonetheless π
The question…
Q… First of all I would like to say thank you for the free videos β they are great. I have found them, not only very clear, but they have helped to clarify that I am doing things as I feel they should be done.
(Psst…If you would like the free videos, Click Here…)
Just a thought on a personal basis β what do you do or say to Jehovah’s Witnesses when they come knocking?
Iβm polite and friendly but donβt wish to get into a discussion about them saying how their ways are the right ways.
I have had them say that there is so much evil in the world, which I know there is, but I personally donβt know anyone around me or around where I live that is evil.
I have tried to tell them to look for the good around them β of which there is a great deal.
My husband is the opposite and will not even give them the time of day saying sorry and closes the door on them β he always tries to put them off by saying he is a Catholic.
I answered the door to a lady and man a couple of days ago and they immediately started their spiel. I tried to put them off by saying that I think there would be a conflict as I am a spiritual healer.
The reaction was β the man recoiled as if I had breathed fire at him. Whoops!
I was once told by a βfriendβ who is a JW that the devil works through me β I said does that mean that the devil worked through Jesus?
Thank you again, Judith, you are a lovely friend and do a great job.
Ta muchly! Bless you and thank you again for all you do.
And my answer…
