This week I’m going to be very short in terms of writing, because I want you to watch a wonderful little video instead – but more of that in a moment.
Last Wednesday was St George’s Day, for those who live in England, but far from a day of parties and celebration, like St Patrick’s Day or St David’s Day, it always seems to slip by almost unnoticed. It’s not PC to be English anymore -but I managed to wear my red skirt and white jumper though 🙂
And Chris looked for damsels in distress and dragons to slay but sadly…
Good mornin’ all…
Blimey o’reilly, what a week!
Thank you all for your questions and photos. It is lovely to ‘see’ so many of you. I am working as quickly as I can to catch up with all the Energy Readings but I am slowly getting there.
We have all had to learn about the new software and technology that goes with it but I think it is really neat that I can record the readings and people can hear what I sound like.
So we may just get around to me reading out the Sunday Chat while you sit back, close your eyes and listen to my dulcet tones… ha ha ha! You’ll be OK as long as I don’t sing.
Now, because I have been so rushed…
Sunshine… almost always makes me smile 🙂 Hum along if you know it…
What a wonderful week this week has been. The rain has stayed away long enough for the sun to come out and we managed a wonderful if bracing walk around the cliffs at St. Abbs. The wind certainly blew away any winter gloom I can tell you!
And with life being as full of surprises as it always is… even the tearoom was open, marvellous.
Now, the general energy… well, it seems much more ‘lively and positive’. As if winter has turned a corner. Which reminds me, the snowdrops are now bursting out all over the grounds here and it truly is a beautiful sight 🙂
Okay, again I’m going to answer a…
Balance… it’s sometimes such a fragile concept isn’t it? And one I don’t want to wobble unnecessarily… ha ha ha!!!
So I whisper when I say the sun is shining as I write this 🙂
Yesterday was also sunny for most of the day too but early this morning, after the clear night, there was a definite autumnal nip in the air.
But, it promises to be a lovely day today, and we will enjoy it outside for a change 🙂
The floods that have been happening here in the UK are much further south to us, more in the middle of England.
Up here we are more in the clouds than under them 🙂
Now, where are we in terms of our imminent move? Well, it feels like we are living in an airport at the moment.
You know the feeling – you’ve got your bags packed but the flight has been delayed… ha ha ha!!!
There is a sense of excitement and restraint at the same time…
A kind of… ‘wait for it’… ‘just a minute’… ‘on your marks’ – but the starting pistol hasn’t gone off yet… ha ha ha!!!
Still, we’re raring to go – any day now.
But the nice thing is… the house we’re living in now has been sold to a lovely couple from Scotland. He was a farm manager and is now retiring and they both love this house. It’s about time this lovely house had some serious loving. It has so much potential…
We are all set, fingers crossed, to move on the 7th August. It is not totally finalised yet but it seems to be the day everyone agrees upon 🙂
More balancing to do I suppose… like walking a fine line between doing and being, action and non action.
Excitement and relaxation…
Good mornin’ all 🙂
At least the rain has stopped for a moment so now it has gone humid and the flies just love it… ha ha ha!!!
If it stays dry we may be able to trim back some more of the trees which are growing rapidly over the driveway like a tunnel.
DC and I look very fetching in balaclava hats to stop the flies buzzing in your ears and biting your head…
So anyone coming down the drive would think it a terrorist training camp except my gardening gloves are pink, of course.
Now the news you have all been waiting for… well, we have, at least…
We now have the Coach House in Eyemouth… yippee!!!
And all being well we’ll move on the 14th August, or if we are lucky, a little before then.
Lot’s of positive energy from you, towards the 28-29th July would be excellent for us
Not that we are not happy to go with the flow, of course, we’d just like to flow it a little quicker… ha ha ha!!!
Okay, so here we are, finding ourselves in the most familiar situation once more of being surrounded by boxes and disarray.
Revealing perhaps – I am not the tidy organised person I like to think I am?
Maybe secretly I am a box lady rather than a bag lady… ha ha ha!!!
Who needs furniture eh? … just pop it in a box instead.
Easy to sit on and eat off too… ha ha ha!!!
But I do feel a little impatient now for the actual move…
Which brings me nicely to the title listed above…
