This is going to be a somewhat eclectic Sunday chat today… ha ha ha!
You see, these past couple of weeks I have had two types of stories or general themes if you like.
One has been about cancer and the other fear, and often the two go hand in hand 🙁
OK, so let’s address the big C first.
As you know we like to keep things very simple around here. But we also like to get results. We strive to give YOU the tools to make your life better than it is at present.
There is no one ‘cure all therapy’ and usually it is a case of trial and error before you find the right one for you at the right time.
Now, here’s a little background about this so you know I speak from experience… and remember, there are no accidents EVER…
Sixteen years ago I started on Oxygen Therapy after reading Ed McCabe’s book on the subject. I found it fascinating and have used Oxygen Therapy on and off ever since…
…and you may recall a while back, I suggested Oxygen…
Good mornin’ all… 🙂
You all know how I can rattle on after last week’s epic Sunday chat, so I shall try and be succinct this week… ha ha ha!
This week’s question follows on nicely from last week, so I’ll get straight to it.
Here’s the question in full…
Sorry to bother you, but I have a problem I hope you can sort out for me.
Recently when giving Reiki to a couple of different people and more often with animals, I feel drawn to keeping my hands in just the one position.
The first time I was drawn to a client’s shoulders and back and almost wanted to dismiss the rest of her body.
I did continue with all the hand positions but felt I just skimmed them, then returned to the shoulders. It was almost as if I had to force myself to do the whole body!
I always thought, and books I’ve read have said, always treat the whole body.
I usually do follow this rule but as I’ve said there are times I feel I should just go with the Reiki feeling but I am worried that I am doing an injustice if I don’t treat the whole body?
Even worse I’ve been told by…
Good mornin’ everyone…
I borrowed the title this week from Anita… I think it may have grabbed your attention… ha ha ha!
This week, in fact life in general, seems to have thrived on drama…
Everything has had to be dramatic or sensational.
To demonstrate just how tired and sad this all is you only have to look at the weather forecasts for the UK this past week.
Arctic weather storms, country at a standstill, schools closed, blah, blah, blah! They seem to have somehow forgotten it just happens to be winter right now.
Anyone over 50 remembers when winter really meant winter…
…with snow for weeks, not hours… ha ha ha! In fact it has been warmer and wetter here in Eyemouth – with only the merest dusting of snow.
Nowadays media headlines sound like a Victorian contributing to the flagellation of deceased equines (flogging a dead horse)… ha ha ha!
OK, so let’s jump in with the question this week. The one that has inspired the title 🙂 …
This wonderful short video was sent in to me from one of our Chikara-Reiki-Do Masters… I hope it inspires you!
Now tell me YOU can’t live your dream !
Good mornin’ everyone…
People often ask me if Reiki will work if practiced by someone with a physical disability, for example a missing hand or fingers.
The answer of course is yes 🙂
Your intention is the most important thing you use to focus your energy. Using the Reiki symbols will help you achieve this too and help keep you more specifically focussed.
There are many physical ‘disabilities’ and not one I can think of, that would stop someone from accessing and adapting their Reiki energy to suit themselves 🙂
So bearing that in mind here’s this week’s questions… 🙂
Q… I have found my left hand shakes uncontrollably at times while massaging or feeling for hot spots. Can you enlighten me as to why only one hand seems more powerful than the other?
And it is the left hand which used to be paralysed through a mini stroke.
And my answer…
