Hi, I’m Judith Conroy of Chikara-Reiki-Do and I’m answering your questions on Reiki.
So, question.
I have a little question first that I think will probably amuse you, but I need to check.
My middle fire finger on my right hand is missing from the top joint upwards, having been bitten off by a dog a few years ago.
Will this be detrimental?
Answer:
Well done you for asking.
It takes courage to appear foolish, which shows you have spirit and determination and a champion sense of humour.
Losing the tip of your finger is no problem and you still have some of the finger to shoot with anyway.
Our energy leaks, seeps or sparks from any sharp part of our bodies.
For example, your elbows, shoulder tips, heels, toes, all the other fingers, tip of your nose and even your gaijin bum.
And we control and direct our Reiki energy by using our intention and imagination or our intention coupled with breathing with intention too.
So, as we focus our intention then so it will be with or without said finger to point with.
But where the thought and intention goes the energy flows.
Of course, you may have trouble finding the wind direction, but you could always lick your elbow and stick that in the air instead.
Don’t bother trying as that is impossible.
Well, I hope this reassures anyone who thinks that they’re not quite right, not perfect enough to be able to perform Reiki as anyone can do Reiki.
You cannot be too saintly or sinning, fat or thin, tall or short, young or old.
You can have all of your parts or you may have lost a few.
It’s all absolutely okay.
You really can adapt your expression of your Reiki energy to suit you.
Now that is perfect.
Thanks for listening.
