I’m Judith Conroy of Chikara-Reiki-Do and I’m answering your questions on Reiki.
I would like to know when a person undergoes a healing crisis, should the person continue the sessions or stop for a little while.
Do carry on with the sessions as this will help to clear things out for good.
No good doing half a job.
When you have things on the move, keep them moving.
When the energy is shifting, keep pushing.
But if the energy shift is too uncomfortable either physically, mentally, or emotionally, then be guided by your own feelings on this and adjust the appointment times accordingly.
Remember, any change is good.
As this denotes a positive movement of energy.
You may also have to cope with any emotional vomits, the person may have.
So, be prepared to give extra support where necessary… and that might just be a great big hug or a handful of tissues.
But remember, only hug if you have your massage certificate, reverence certificate, Reiki certificate, insurance certificate, or whatever the going hugging certificate is these days 😊
If in doubt, simply ask yourself, what would you like as help and support if you were in the same situation, then do that.
Trust yourself implicitly.
I hug like a caring human being or hold a hand and pat a back whenever I feel that that is the right thing to do.
And I don’t need any special permission or a piece of paper to do that.
I simply trust myself.
And well done to any of you who have the love, compassion, time and energy to help a friend, neighbor, or stranger in need.
These days, that’s a very rare talent in itself.
Thanks for listening.
