No Time to be ILL!


Good mornin’ all…

Happy Father’s Day chaps! 🙂

Have a day full of tinkering and teacakes and gentleman’s pamperings 🙂

And with those chilled out, relaxed thoughts, let us remember that the only place we ever rush to, is an early grave…

See how I slipped seamlessly into this week’s Sunday chat…ha ha ha!

But really, it seems no-one has the time to be ill these days, let alone give themselves time to heal!

Today you’re supposed to ‘man up’ and drug your poor old body up to the hilt, just so you can perform boring tasks at work.

Like a good little robot…

Call me old fashioned – again!

But I remember when, if you felt poorly – you had a day in bed to feel better – and it worked!

You weren’t malingering, you were healing!

And the same with old fashioned remedies too.

They gently and over, a period of time, healed your body.

A mustard poultice for a bad chest, camphorated oil for everything, gentian violet for lady’s problems, petroleum jelly for wounds and duct tape for warts!

These time-honoured remedies supported your body, mind and emotions through the ups and downs of your illness.

And they gave your body time to heal itself with the minimum interference.

And, so did those around you.

Whatever happened to the healing power of Mum’s spit on a hanky for your grazed elbow?

It’s super bug killing wipes now and a trip to the hospital for a band-aid plaster!

Nobody trusts their own intuition anymore.

And, certainly, they don’t trust their frail and fragile bodies to know how to heal!

How on earth did we ever evolve?

An illness is so often a journey of self-discovery. Ask anyone who’s had cancer

Today you must suppress, you, symptoms and stop complaining!

Take your sickness into the workplace and share your germs, so everyone then has to buy more drugs to keep themselves going.

Oh, how the drug companies must love us!

But even if you stay home in bed, everyone else has manned up and gone to work, leaving you to fend for yourself!

Next time you feel poorly just STOP.

Get off the treadmill for at least a day and spoil yourself with lots of Chikara-Reiki-Do energy and chicken soup made with Chikara-Reiki-Do charged water and blessed with a Power symbol

If you don’t feel up to giving Reiki to yourself then ask someone else to send you some.

There are plenty of distant Reiki healing groups around.

Anyone who comes for a Chikara-Reiki-Do session immediately feels better because they have slowed down.

They relaxed.

They took time off the treadmill of life!

Let the nonsense and noise drop away from your life.

And as you do that, you’ll naturally become aware… some call it intuitive others a knowingness

Take a deep breath and enjoy the fragrance of life

Less is more.
