A question on Reiki and Diabetes
Q – My step-dad is hospitalized with a diabetic condition. The toes on one foot were amputated.
I’m not sure how to proceed, as he’s in a lot of pain. The Reiki does lessen it but he can only take a half hour at a time.
A – What to do…?
Do not treat the condition; treat the person who happens to have the condition.
Just touch your step-Dad and let the Reiki energy flow.
It’ll be used by his body as it’s needed.
And consider giving a distant Reiki session, using either yourself as a surrogate or a teddy bear.
That way, you could give as much Reiki as YOU FEEL is right and for as long as YOU FEEL is necessary, without tiring him or yourself. 🙂
Diabetics often have a problem enjoying the ‘sweet things’ in life.
And I don’t just mean chocolates! 🙂
Perhaps he could learn to laugh more (at himself too) or to simply have fun.
Whatever the word fun means for him.
For fun is a very individual concept and many people have a problem simply letting go and having fun!
One man’s fun is another man’s nightmare… just think football! 🙂
Perhaps he needs to drop the fear of ‘stepping out into a new future’?
Toes are important for stability and forward thrust. 🙂
Or maybe he needs to balance the different areas of his life, like work, family and play?
Little toes are essential for balance 🙂
And, always remember, a physical condition is only the manifestation of an emotional problem.
That’s EVERY physical condition, no exceptions!!! 🙂
Feet in general are connected to the 1st Chakra which is all about FEELING safe and secure, planted, grounded, primal.
So, just be there and share your Reiki energy with him. 🙂
The rest will take care of itself and the outcome will be perfect for all concerned.
Trust and love and you’ll intuitively know what to do. 🙂
Trust, Love and Reiki…
Now there’s a powerful combination for you all 🙂
Have a champion weekend…
