Now, it’s traditional when a new life enters this world that we all look for things that might be right or wrong…
…for example – has baby all its bits and pieces in the right places – fingers and toes and the like… is baby healthy with no diseases or deformities etc?
But really, there is no ‘right or wrong’ to these things, they are simply choices of our own making.
Where am I going with this?
Well, here’s the question I was asked this week…
In my student manual (first degree), it says…
“You make what happens happen. With this awareness, comes the realisation that every event in your life, including that of illness, is brought to you, by you and that it can, therefore, be taken away by you as well.”
My question is, that, if a person has a disease which cause came from his/her parents or grandparents, or from DNA problem before he/she was born, do you say that the disease was brought by the person him/herself?
I think that only these cases are out of the meaning of the paragraph saying.
And I think that even if the cause came from the person’s parents or grandparents, we can heal the disease because Reiki is ‘the universal and holy, spiritually conscious, life force energy that energises and animates all living things’
Am I right? …K
And my answer…
YES you are right about Reiki. It has the power to change anything and everything that YOU want it to 🙂
For there is only one energy – it is you and you are it.
You are involved, connected, flowing, immersed, creator and co-creator of anything and everything that is you.
You are Reiki and Reiki is you… therefore your wish is your Reiki energies command.
So, you are your grandparents and they are you… you are your illness and it is an expression of you. You cannot have this set of life experiences unless you chose/agreed to have whatever genetic thingy you have.
You cannot experience Down’s syndrome or diabetes unless you actually have them. Your Mother cannot experience the emotion of having a disabled child unless you agreed to play this part for her.
There are many people’s personal life experiences all intermingling in the everyday ‘stage play’ we call Life.
You are correct in that you can alter the experience by knowing this and then taking steps to change things.
Just be aware that some challenges may be here to stay for this lifetime but that does not mean, just because you now don’t like them, that you didn’t agree to them previously.
It also doesn’t mean you cannot work a ‘miracle’ either 🙂
Remember there is no separation, duality, two of anything…
There is only YOU… EVERYTHING is a demonstration of your ‘one energy’.
And for you to demonstrate one part, there has to be the other opposite part too, to complete the whole.
So altogether there is no part, only the totality… which is… you!
YOU are the power… YOU are the energy.
Chuffin’ grand as they say… ha ha ha!
And on that note I shall leave you all to celebrate on our behalf with chocolate cake or chocolate something and I’ll see you all next week.
