Well, thereโs been some funny old feelings going on this week.
Life seems to be full of dichotomies and none more so than recently. One minute it’s a positive, go, go, go and in the next breath a negative why bother? ๐
There seems to be very little middle ground or centeredness about anything.
Even more reason to use your Reiki this weekend to keep you emotionally steady.
But there does feel to be a pull to “get things straight” in our own heads, as to where we are heading in life…
…a kind of – โwhat do we really want in this lifetimeโ sort of thing?
There is a feeling for sharper clarity.
You see, sometimes we drift along with things in our lives going ‘OK’ but there could be more… more excitement, more passion, more achievement.
More drive, more vibrancy, just MORE ๐
Well, now is the time to really sort the wheat from the chaff in all areas of your life and hone things down to a fine, clear vision.
Then simply walk in that direction.
You don’t need to rush or run though. Just walk with a firm, steady pace and enjoy.
Be AWARE of everything that comes up.
Walk like someone on a mission… ha ha ha! Someone with a clear destination in mind ๐
This could be anything from losing a few pounds for summer or making a few million pounds by Christmas ๐
Keep focused and keep walking. Don’t get side tracked.
One way to help you do this is with the… (I’m sure by now famous), Reiki self ‘treat’ment ๐
Start the day the Reiki way… with a calm, serene, purposeful attitude.
Just 5-10 minutes before you get out of bed with one hand on your heart and one on your solar plexus – or a full ‘sitting comfortably’ 5 minutes in each of the 12 hand positions session… just whatever suits you in the time you have.
But do make some quiet Reiki time just for you. The difference will speak for itself ๐
Okey, dokey… best answer a question ๐
This is one that came in after last weekโs question and follows on nicely…
The question…
Hi Judith,
Re: last weekโs Reiki Chat on the experiences we agree to bring into our lives, presumably before we got here!
I’ve got 2 questions about this:
Do you think that sometimes we forget what it is we actually intended and then go about creating a whole lot of things we didn’t originally agree to and don’t even want while we’re here?
And my answer…
We often forget or get distracted and bogged down in the very seemingly ‘real’ events that happen in our lives. Just like many people believe ‘soap operas’ are for real ๐
We are always denying responsibility for many of our creations… even if they are brilliant… ha ha ha!
“Oh no sir, who sir, me sir, no sir?… the credit or blame belongs to him sir… honest John, the angels, tiny Tim, but not me sir” ๐
But the other habit we fall into is simply ALLOWING events, people and situations to somehow take over our lives and before we know it we seem to have lost control over everything.
We have given away our power to all and sundry and find it hard to regain it with any decorum or credibility.
Usually we create a crisis of some sort to ‘turn our lives’ around and get back on track again.
I think a lot of the energy around at the moment is about getting back on the ‘right track’ for each of us.
And the second question…
Would there be any difference in the way we go about treating these conditions with Reiki – i.e. ‘original intent’ or ‘things that happened along the way’?
Assuming that it’s clear whether the condition was brought in at the beginning of life or was acquired later.
Cheers KJ.
And my answer…
I don’t believe you would approach the situations differently.
When we use a Reiki session for ourselves or for another we are simply using the Reiki to create harmony and balance. To bring the troubled, disturbed energy back to the nature of itself… which is a natural state of stable flux.
Another one of those dichotomies again… ha ha ha!
All you need to do is bring that support, stability, steadiness to the person whilst their body regains its natural balance.
It doesn’t matter if the issue is physical, mental, emotional or a spiritual crisis, the simple fact remains that the ‘one energy’ is out of alignment with who we perceive we are…
Or, we are out of step with the nature of the ‘one energy’ around us ๐
When we create that stable foundation then the state of flux or constant change can occur without unbalancing us. Suddenly we are in the flow of things and life is joyful and fun with all its up’s and down’s taken in our stride.
Even death becomes an adventure ๐
Well I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend, whether celebrating or not… cheers!
